OBITUARY
On Friday evening, October 8, 2021, God sent his angels to Atrium Health Union Hospital in Monroe, North Carolina to claim the life of Angie Lynn Sowell. Angie was born April 7, 1971, in Cheraw, South Carolina, to the late Lenson L Clyburn and Peggy Ann Sowell.
Angie accepted Christ as her savior at an early age and was a faithful member of Salem United Methodist Church in Pageland, South Carolina. Angie attended Union County Public School. She worked as a stocker at Walmart in Monroe, North Carolina for several years. She was a loving caring person everyone knew her for her big, beautiful smile, her crazy acting, and her silly dancing.
Angie leaves to cherish memories: her fiancé, Ernest Richardson, Wingate, NC; a son, Mechael Lockhart of Atlanta GA, two daughters; Shaleilei Chambers and Jontesia Winfield of Wingate, NC; a grandson, Kamarion Huntly of Wingate, NC; seven sisters, Teresa Jackson of Pageland, SC, Phyllis Covington of Lancaster, SC, Kay Frances of Darlington, SC, Patricia (Howard) Miller of Jefferson, SC, Kathy (Lynell) Louallen of Jefferson, SC, Diane (Robbie) Tyler of Dallas, NC and Joyce (James) Chambers of Pageland, SC; eight brothers, Willie James Kirkland of Charlotte, NC, Tony Sowell and Ron Sowell both of Pageland, SC, Steven (Melissa) Sowell of Jefferson, SC, Mickey (Rita) McManus of Pageland, SC, Marty McManus of Pageland, SC and Eugene Kirkland of Angelus, SC; a close Sister, Maevon Seegars of Pageland, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Angie was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters; Gladys McGriff, Regina Wanda Clyburn, Betty Pate and Priscilla Clyburn; four brothers; Danny McManus, Lenson Clyburn, Jr., Kenneth Clyburn, and Richard Smith.
