MR. JERRY LEE SCARBOROUGH OBITUARY
Jerry Lee Scarborough was born on January 19, 1956 in Chesterfield County, South Carolina to the late Levie Scarborough and Voncille Newman- Scarborough. Early Saturday, April 25, 2020, God called him into His heavenly grace.
He attended the Chesterfield County public schools and he was a trustee of Sandy Run Missionary Baptist Church.
He was employed at Mafco Mfg., Springs of Lancaster, South Carolina and the Chesterfield County School District. He enjoyed fishing, helping others, riding motorcycles, working on cars, spending time with his family, playing pranks on his family and watching Western shows and movies.
Jerry was a loving and devoted son, brother, father, husband, and friend.
Those left to cherish his memory are: his loving wife, Mary Ellen Scarborough; four children, Dwayne (Erica) Bailey of Pageland, SC, Melissa (Lerone) Scarborough of Pageland, SC, Janice Brown of Jefferson, SC and Regenia Scarborough of Jefferson, SC; a brother, Robert (Connie) Scarborough, Jefferson, SC; four sisters, Elaine (Rulon) Wiley, McBee, SC, Sylvia (Lonnie) Gaskins of Jefferson, SC, Mary (Timothy) Gaskins of Charlotte, NC and Greta (Joseph) Williams of Darlington, SC; nine grandchildren, Cedric Bailey, Markeya Blakeney, Amiracle Massey, Ausumoni Massey, Anequia Massey, Jaceion Massey, Isaiah Brown, Taylor Scarborough and Aveona Scarborough; two great-grandchildren, Kyran and Aleigha Bailey; a special friend, Ray Dunlap and a host of relatives, nieces & nephews, cousins, and the Sandy Run Church Family.
In addition to his parents, Levie Scarborough and Voncille Scarborough he was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Scarborough; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Haney and Ruth Bailey.
